Ghosts, spirits, mythological beasts, and vampires; if you’re looking for a supernatural anime to watch this Halloween, then consider taking a look at Nisemonogatari produced by Aniplex. As the sequel to the anime series Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari features Koyomi Araragi, a third-year high school student who survived a vampire attack. After recovering from the attack, Koyomi goes on to find himself helping a number of girls who are involved with all sorts of paranormal activity. With elements of fantasy, horror, and action, Nisemonogatari has been well-received and is known for its character conversations and wordplay.
Coincidentally (or perhaps not so coincidentally) Pangya’s Encore Monogatari Box B event ends on October 30, the day before Halloween.
